A Celebration of Life for your Loved One.
What is a Funeral Celebrant?
As the name suggests, a celebrant leads a celebration. He/she conducts the funeral service with or without reference to religious traditions.
A Civil Celebrant creates and leads services shaped to suit the personal preferences of the deceased or their family.
They work hand in hand with your Funeral Director to celebrate the life of the person who has passed.
Meet Carole – Funeral Celebrant
Carole, of Precious Memories, is a Funeral Celebrant in Worcester and will work with families throughout the area and also in South Shropshire and North Herefordshire.
Planning the Funeral Service all starts with a relaxed conversation and a chance to share your thoughts, memories and requests with Carole, an Independent Funeral Celebrant, who will be able to turn this series of conversations with you and (maybe) other family members, into a meaningful service that will reflect the life of your Loved One.

As the last thing we can do for someone that we have loved, is plan their Funeral Service, we need to get it right, there is only one chance to do this for them.
There are no set rules to a funeral service but some of the options you could include are:
- Music, Readings, Poems, Photographs, Hymns, Tribute/Eulogy, Family tribute
It doesn’t matter that you don’t have a script to follow, we will, between us, find the words, poems, music and personal touches that best portray the Life of your Loved One and make your service unique to you and your family.
Whether or not you have a religious belief we can make the service meaningful with or without hymns and prayers. As a Civil Celebrant I am able to include practically anything that you wish into a service.
When the service is being conducted at a crematorium, it can normally be arranged for religious symbols to be removed from the chapel prior to the start of the service, if that is your preference.
Whatever you decide, I will be there for you and your family throughout, to support, comfort and reassure you during this difficult time.
